Im looking for h&r coilovers, I had the pro-kit installed for a month and they were horrible.
Where is the best place to order? Im really trying to avoid ordering from the states because of customs duties, anybody have some good resources?

Both Nextmod and Garage16 can source H&R coils for you. Very curious how they perform on the Speed, as they are on the suspension options I am considering.
2010 Black Mazdaspeed 3 - Lightly modded
Thanks, just sent nextmod a e-mail, never heard of garage16 thou?
I borrowed my buddys 2010 sti for a week, he has h&r coilovers, the ride is perfect, not overkill in harshness at all. I'll post a review once i find some for a good price!
oooorrrrrr....you can just buy some Koni or Bilstein dampers.
Besides, you can't really compare an STI on coilovers to a 3 on just lowering Springs
Just spring on an ms3 is gonna blow your struts faster than they blow at the proper ride height if not already blown already.
1991 Nissan Pathfinder - trade in, 2005 Mazda 3 GX ty grey - Write off, 2010 Mazda 3 GT E sedan CWP- trade in, 2010 Speed 3 w/tech CWP - Up for sale (soon), 2007 Mazda 3 GS silver- motor swapped in to 2009 MS3 CWP that had blown engine, 2002 BMW 330ci silver- new winter ride, 2005 BMW M3- new toy
I thought about just dampers, but i would like to lower the height as well, springs+dampers almost comes out to the same price as coilovers. I've read positive things about H&R, quality products. I'm assuming they will ride just as well on the 3 as they did on the Subaru..........atleast I hope

Are you relying strictly on RJ3's issues? Because other members, such as Dave_The_BMXER have run BC coils through the winter. I recall McGuyver is as well. For any coil over setup, you need to ensure it is greased before winter, and if possible once during. Maintenance is key.
I had my tein basics on my last mazda3 for three winters, they were fine, but i keep them covered in grease.
Yes i am on BC coils and when first starting to drive in SUPER cold conditions, they are very rough. about 1km of driving softens them up though
75000kms stock springs stock dampers. Blown rear strut. No warranty. Have fun on your lowering springs boys. My wife's civic has 240000kms. Stock springs and dampers. No issues. Handles like a dream. If you have a bad rear damper you most likely wouldn't even know it until you're spinning into a guard rail on an off ramp. The stock struts aren't even good enough for the stock springs, let alone shorter higher rate ones. The car is already lower than the standard 3. Koni yellows are going on mine asap. Stock springs.

The fsd 4045 still isn't the perfect solution for sub par factory struts as there isn't a lot of suspension travel in the read, and the stock bump stops are too long. When the shock body hits this bump stop which is utilized by the factory shock in a progressive manner, it interprets the stop as a high frequency impact and opens is valve underdamping the situation even further.
we have sold a couple of sets already, customer loves it on the MS3 =)

People usually go bananas over their fresh purchases regardless. There isn't very often someone will fork over enough cash to buy everything in the range in order to do a proper full on comparo, and 9 times out of 10, no one is willing to admit that the decision they made wasn't the correct one, so they become biased towards the decision they did make, looking for all the pluses, and trying to ignore the short comings.
Fff from msf, has tried: fsd 4040s and said they were way too under damped; fsd 4045 when koni said the Mazda 5 fsd was more suited for the speed3, and said that the bump stop was a huge issue; Mazdaspeed coilovers, and had a hard time dialing them in but eventually had a love/relationship with them, and after 4000 miles had broken in to be A LOT different than when installed and still thinks they've been the best option so far, and is now on bilsteins but will not write an unbiased review until he's put a full 4000miles on them... I personally don't care what anyone likes or doesn't like. I don't drive their car. I drive mine. But I do know the stock dampers are inferior at the best of times at the stock ride height let alone lowered.
Im still debating on BC coils, H&R coils or just go H&R springs and Koni struts. I know there the same price but....its all ride quality and all around quality. Such a hard decision and a expensive one.

If you're worried in the slightest about quality anything, you should really scratch BC of your list, at least until they come out with something that isn't just rebranded Taiwanese crap for us, like they just did for the mazda6
You guys can get JIC-Magic coilovers, they make that for the 3 with "customizable" spring rate (before you order ofc) - like a 12k/10k setup
