yeah thats what im thinking hoping there is an amp that connects to the speakers
They say I'm an addict but I don't have a problem with alcohol or drugs. I'm an addict because I can't live without bass. Car audio is my addiction. And it will never change.
if i had to make a guess the wiring harness adaptor is probably identical to the most recent models. Just a guess of course, but I'd be willing to place $10 on it being the same metra harness as previous gen models.

if you do a quick search on the metra and sosche sites (2 main manufacturers for harnesses and dash kits) there is nothing right now for the 2014's
adding subs wouldnt be too hard though. as mentionned already, a simple LOC (line out converter) would help you out with that. many different options for those out there.
found this thread about a LOC.

Hey I have talked to few car audio tech. They all seem to mention the same thing. It requires a special harness kit or some sort. As the factory head unit does not have rca or audio inputs. They said it's positive to install without voiding warranty and cutting lines and wires. I will have mine amp and sub installed two-week from now cost 260 plus tax hope this helps
You likely need a line out converter. Can be had cheap, but even a good one is less than $50.

This. Basically what a Line Output converter does is take the signal from the left and right door speaker and converts them to the Left and right RCA as the stock decks do not have RCA hookups. When I used to run one back 6 years ago or so, they were the left and right positive and negative wires and the RCAs on the other side. Now these things have your remote wire hookups, power, ground and even bass knobs. Amazing how much things change in a short time.
Hey...I'm in the process of doing this now. Just need to make a custom box for the trunk. No need to cut the factory harness. I bought this harness off ebay. Plug and play.

I have 2 12" subs tied to a JL Audio 1000 watt amp in my 2015 Mazda 3. Peel Audio did the install for me last summer. Good bass and I have never had any problems with Peel Audio's work in this matter. I have the touch screen option too. I am thinking of selling the setup as I keep pulling the subs out of the back as I am using the hatch to carry more stuff now and I am getting sick of doing this twice a week.
