AUX for 2004?

That doesn't work for everyone, that is only if you had a cd changer I think. For people that only supported 1 cd (like me) you had to use the Tape/MD button. Pressing the CD button a second time does nothing. (after doing some research I found that some people with a cd changer could press CD a second time and have it display "EX").
Auxmod allows you to use the tape/md button, but there is additional circuitry required, it is not just a simple wire that can make it work. Same with GROM afaik.

auxmod interfaces with the unused tape/MD addon interface port at the bottom of the head unit, that's why people must use the tape/MD button for the auxmod, because it is behaving as if it is a tape player
the CD button DOES work even if you have a single disc player to cycle over to the external CD changer mode... the 04-05 head units are actually completely modular... base headunit the same for most 3s, it's the CD module/drive that's different depending on CD changer or single disc

This is getting confusing for me anyways... I will just burn some mixed CDs and deal with it

see what the return policy is, you could always buy it, worst case, maybe you can return it

If you do, make sure you post your results. I would honestly be blown away if this worked. But if it does, will help a lot of people out...
