Update- I've been running the E-Focus mount on my MS3 for about 15,000kms, and I have a feeling it's shot. Installing my HPFP, I noticed that my wire loom bracket (mounts with the Cobb SF Intake bracket) has cracked. I'll crawl under the car sometime this week, pull the mount and decide if it's worth upgrading to a CP-E/Damond. Either way, it's a great upgrade over stock, especially for ~$55 at the Ford dealership. More to come...

Once in a while the shifter cable can become damaged/break and then you'll have issues getting it into gear. Might not be the transmission, might be the cables. You could also check that there are no issues with the arms on the transmission. If there is a pin or bolt that holds the arm on and that becomes loose, that could be your issue. The engine mount isn't going to ruin your transmission
Is it easy to check your shifter cables? I've been living with it for the past couple weeks, but it hurts my soul every time it doesn't shift smoothly

Is the Ford CM5Z-6068-A compatible with 1st gen MS3s? I've got an '05 that could really use this upgrade...

According to post #45 and #91 yes. Others are saying gen 2 mounts work in gen 1 no problem so it fits.

Doesn't matter what type of mount you use, if it's going to reduce the engine movement then you will get vibrations. I have tried to poly inserts, no benefits, no better shifting , no faster acceleration , just vibrations and I had to go back to stock because I hate it. For a normal driver doesn't worth it, but you can try it, same as me (and I am one of the drivers that likes to step on gas at stop lights).

Paid $91 for it about 3 weeks ago at Yorkdale Ford so maybe call around a bit. Install was easy except for the stubborn plastic fasteners on the skid plate. I'm pretty happy with it so far.

EBay has a low cost knock off under brand Torque for $35. You will also need the Ford horizontal bolt

If I want to install the E-Focus RMM on my MAZDASPEED3 2008 ... can I just put the RMM with the bolt I have stock ?? or I need to buy this bolt => W500545-S900 ???

    Thanks for your help.

I maybe want to try this RMM because during winter my JBR Dogbone 88 Duro create a lot of rattle and my dash vibes ... during the spring, summer I got no problem it's fine.

    Thanks for your help

Has anyone purchased this recently in the GTA? Got quoted ~95 for both the mount and bolt in Hamilton

FYI this bolts thread is M12, length I'm unsure of. I have a M12 that extends 3cm past the thread on the other side. I plan on cutting it to-size once I know if I need to put a nut on the end or not.

For those who bought W500545-S900, did it extend out of the mount? Did you put a nut on the end of it? Did you just put loctite and torque it? How do you ensure it doesn't vibrate out? Lock washer?

To answer my own question for others, no you do not need a nut at the end. Just torque it down.

Waking up this old thread. Anyone tried to order this from RockAuto? It's not listed on the Electric Focus section that I could see, but under the 2014 Focus ST section (2.0L L4 turbocharged) it shows the same picture for this part that you guys are showing... says it's going to be $64.38 plus duty to ship to me in Brantford.

^^^ And that's in CAD by the way. Also, thanks everyone who's shared info in this thread! Takes a while to read through everything, but super helpful for a guy like me to learn some things.

Just pulled the trigger on the mount from RockAuto while buying strut mounts and bearings and even though I added the part from the Focus ST section, it showed the electric Focus mount in the photo and then said Electric Focus mount when I ordered it so I think I'm good to go. Seems cheaper than other people have been getting them from Canadian dealers more recently if anyone is looking. Also used the 5% off coupon code that I found searching the forums. Looking forward to putting it in.

Looks to be the correct part from RockAuto if anyone is interested in the mount for a bit cheaper. $34.95 USD +tax and shipping/duty. Now I'll just have to get the two bolts. Also do a search for the RockAuto 5% off code just to help you feel like you're getting a discount! I just posted a new code.

I've had the Electric Focus mount installed for a little over 15,000 km's and I think it's done, I'll have to look under the car soon to verify but the vibrations at idle have gotten a lot worse recently and especially with the A/C on. I guess I'll go back to stock, I was really enjoying this mount while it was working but I can't replace it every 15k.

Also possible it's the trans mount, I need to pull the trans mount to check and I will come back with an update.
