@Booter22 not yet lots of drama at work and my car is getting rear bumper repaired thus have rental for the moment. I don't have much time to get it installed either.

In case you are wondering, Dixie Ford quoted me $49.60 over the phone for the part and they had stock.

Honestly, I would just do it if you have the time. It's cheap, and from all of the reading I did on this mount, it was a fantastic almost vibe-free upgrade! Apparently this mount design originate from the Volvo's!

Forgive the newbie question, but as I understand it the e-focus RMM would be a direct swap with all Mazda 3's? I have a 2011 2.5L and want to do this mod. The bolt part mentioned, that is for the center of the mount and it already comes with the bracket bolt? TIA.

Would also like to know if it's a direct bolt on for the 2011 2.5L

It is indeed a direct swap for the 2010+ MS3. I will have a review shortly. I don't have any personal experience with the MZ3.

Well I phoned the local Ford dealership to get a price on the mount - ~$57. However it doesn't come with any bolts. He has the center bolt in stock but the other bolt to attach the bracket to the motor would have to be special ordered as there are none in Canada or the USA. He says both bolts are the same thread but different lengths. Now I am wondering exactly what bolt you guys say is required for this swap as it appears the hardware from the Mazda 3 can't be used? Hmm, slightly confused now...

Re-read this entire thread and you will find a poster with images of his install...

It's not the bolt that goes up through the rubber bushing.

Yes all clear with parts in hand and under the car. The bolt part needed for the CM5Z-6068-A mount is W500545-S900. Another dealership had no issue obtaining one. The actual install took 15-20 minutes, no problems at all. Torque specs for the mount bolts is 54-66 ft/lbs and for the transmission bracket bolts is 70-85 ft/lbs. No difference in noise/vibration I could feel, but clear and direct improvement in gear changes, applied power feels more direct also.

How does this mount compare to a stock MS3 RMM? Is it stiffer? Is this a viable upgrade? I know the ST makes comparable torque to an MS3 so I assume that if this mount is designed for even more torque than that (for the E-focus) that it should work well. Anyone with a speed have any feedback? Oh yeah, will this fit a genwon?

The answers to most of your questions are in the thread. The OP installed on a MS3 if i am reading correctly so yes it will fit, genone and gentoo mounts are basically identical (except the tranny mount).

As this is a similar design to the CPe stage 1 mount it should be a great upgrade for an MS3 driver who doesn't like vibes and wants to daily with a bit better shift feel.

Not really. Seems like it's still unclear if this will bolt in with zero issues into a genwon. And it may be similar in design but I'm asking how it compares regarding stiffness. Does anyone know the durometer of the bushing or more likely, how does it compare vs an aftermarket rmm. Is it less stiff than any aftermarket rmm and therefore probably not good at holding the engine in place while I bang through gears or can I count on this thing to hold shit in place reasonably/significantly better than the stocker. I'd love one of the MS3 guys to report back if he previously ran an aftermarket mount and how this one stacks up. I'm sure this one won't vibe my steering wheel with the AC on but neither does my stocker. I want it all....no vibes and to be able to find 3rd coming hard out of 2nd.

As far as fitment goes, I'm not sure whats unclear? Gen 1 and Gen 2 engine mounts are identical fitment. I've installed mounts on both cars and if you buy from manufacturers like CPe, Corksport, Cobb etc... the part numbers are exact for the two generations. So there's not really a 'question' there. If it fits properly on a gen 2, it will fit a gen1 with zero issues.

As far as wanting it all? Good luck. If anyone has found the perfect mount that makes our shifts perfect, and adds no additional NVH... They'd have my money yesterday. If you wanna play, you gotta give up some comfort.

If that's the only bolt you got, then you got the wrong one. You need the other bolt that goes horizontally and attaches the other end to the trans...
