    Default Intake - Advice

    Hey guys,

I have been thinking about getting an after market intake on my 2010 MS3. I wanted to know if anyone knows a reliable brand and a good place to get it installed (not too expensive either).

    Any help would be appreciated!

Go with the jbr pp sri and tip combo......as for install its pretty darn easy and you can do it by yourself easily....then run a s-ots map with your ap and voila! Your set. Best way to go imo.

What other mods do you have? An intake can exceed the capabilities of the stock fuel pump given other variables (TIH, Accessport, TMIC, etc)

There are lots of options out there, JBR, Corksport, CP-e, Cobb, etc. If you want something relatively inexpensive but decent quality get a Corksport one (there's a group buy I'm running right now, check out the section in the classifieds). Installation, it's VERY easy so you can definitely DIY from the instructions most manufacturers provide. Otherwise, find some locals (where you from?) that can help. Failing that, Jimmy @ Street Performance is the usual choice.

If you end up getting the corksport one, I suggest don't get a red filter with it....mine has faded to a really ugly orange color within a year of having it on the car. But I do recommend getting the corksport sri/tip.
