    Default 245/45/18? But why?

Got a line on a cheap set of summers to burn off and I'm wondering if anyone's ran this ridiculous size of tire before?

I ran 245/40 DR's on RX-8's with no issues before....but it was a tight fit. Just wondering if I can squeeze some big and tall 245/45/18's in there? I thinking I'll probably need a 5mm spacer all around.

Anyone got pic's of said size mounted?

Are both of you lowered at all? How wide are your rims...camber arms? Fender roll? Just asking because im running a 245 on a 9 inch wheel and about to drop it.

I am lo lowered on Swift Spec-R springs, with Bilstein Shocks to match. Rims are 18*8.5 +42 . No after market camber kit. No fender roll, no rubbing.

Looks like the answer is no. I figured as much but was just hoping against hope. 245/45 would be 110.25mm tall and who knows how much wider at its widest....way too big. Oh well. Anyone got a used set of summers for sale? 235/40 - 245/40?
