    Question Interior Trim Removal Help

I have a first gen sedan and want to vinyl some of the interior trim pieces. I've been successful getting the plastic strip along the dash out, and the A-pillars. I want to do the plastic trim on the door handles where the window control knobs are, the plastic trim around the vents and the plastic trim where the driver and passenger seat belts are. Even with going to a scrap yard yesterday and playing around with these pieces on scrap mazda3's I'm still lost. Does anyone know a good how-to for these pieces or can walk me through it themselves? I've done a bunch of searching but can't find definite answers anywhere. Thanks in advance.

to get the door piece off with the windows controls you got to take the door panel off first, then unplug the 2 harness and then it just pops out and the circle vents i just turn and pull it, was abit tough but came out with out breaking

ok the piece with the window controls seems fairly simple

as for the circle vents what are you pulling on while you turn? the flaps that can open and close to let air out?

Here's a step by step on how to remove the door panels - pretty sure it also shows how to get the pull handles off

Thanks for that man. Still really stumped about the plastic trim around the driver and passenger seat belt. More clarification on the vents would be appreciated too if anyone has some insight

I believe the vents just pull straight out.

Not sure about the pillars though

the window controls panel don't need the door card to come out. Stick a trim stick along the bottom (by the handle) and side edge (towards the seat) and pop it upwards, the front is just hooked underneath so pull it up and backwards...
