Default Guelph-Need to find reliable shop to service and mod

I am looking for a place in Guelph that does service and mods, and that won't take advantage of me being a chick..lol... Anyone have any suggestions of good places and/or places to avoid? Thanks in advance

For mods you can look at places like Performance Improvements. Not a whole lot for servicing them but a buddy of mine has been starting a shop up in Kitchener and does good work for a good price. I ftmp do my own mods and only have gotten 2 things done by someone else on my car (coilovers and exhaust).
They say I'm an addict but I don't have a problem with alcohol or drugs. I'm an addict because I can't live without bass. Car audio is my addiction. And it will never change.

are you looking for just someone to install your parts? check out murrays auto, ask for greg. they are all really good there, very honest, personable, and reasonable with their prices. Greg is one of my good friends, and a real good mechanic.

I gotta ask, are you the white gen 2 i see around all the time?

Edit: nvm, i just read your newbie thread lol. what color is it?

I think you'll find that despite the drive to Richmond Hill, if you have multiple mods for one day, my prices and expertise might just be worth the drive
I'm sure @Mitchell3, who drives from further than you would agree.

Thanks everyone!!! I'd love to learn some things, so wouldn't mind getting my hands dirty at all! As long as people would maybe have some patience to teach me a few things..LOL! I've always wanted to be able to work on cars and bikes, but have never had the chance to learn... But, I'm also big on supporting local businesses, so if anyone wants to pm me info on shops etc... please feel free I'd like to get started asap on some mods

Then make it out for an install day...we all just get together and help each other do various installs of whatever parts we have. Somewhere in the group of us there is usually someone that will know how to do the job, but ask first to be sure and make sure they're able to come.

First mod should be some TM3 swag on your car, so we can identify you driving around!

I've got a few of the official plate covers and stickers still, $10 per cover ($20 for set) or $5 per sticker. Same as you get from Ami, just conveniently located in KW instead of TO.

I have a question for you guys.. if anyone is able to possibly help me I searched the forum, but didn't find anything that could help me, so hope I'm not repeating something here, but the past few days, I noticed a weird smell when I shut my car off.. it smells like, when you light a match, it's so strong. The smell fills the car and you can smell it outside of the car too... does anyone know what might cause that? It's not every time either... I thought maybe I was riding the clutch too much, but the smell is definitely different than the clutch smell...
