Any updates on the specs for 2015's (except for the manual GT)? I assume there will be no changes, since it's a new model..

The US 2.5 GT MT for 2015 is over $1k less in price than its auto counterpart. Hopefully that proves to be the case in Canada as well.
the shop manual has been updated to include the 2.5 MT in it... so what has been said is true!
it does have shorter gearing in it compared to the 2.0 too
2005 Mazda3 SP23 hatchback (auto)
2016 Mazda3 Sport GT (auto)
Here you go. Shorter first & reverse gear ratio:
Manual Transaxle [C66M-R]
Engine type SKYACTIV-G 2.0 SKYACTIV-G 2.5
Gear ratio 1GR 3.363 3.700
2GR 1.947
3GR 1.300
4GR 1.029
5GR 0.837
6GR 0.680
Reverse 3.385 3.724
Final gear ratio:
US & Can 3.850 4.105
Hm, I would be surprised if the manual version wasn't discounted, unless they throw some more tech into it. If you look at the configurator right now, the automatic transmission is a $1,200 add-on on the GS.
If the new GT manual came priced at $24,655 ($1,200 less than the current AT), that would be pretty good.
I went in to my dealer last night to place an order on the 2015 GT and he told me the manual will be the same price as the auto...
Probably enough corroboration. Jeff, can you explain why the 2.5 MT and AT are the same price, and the 2.0 MT and AT have the usual $ difference?
Someone in another thread indicated that the 2015's would start shipping in mid-to-late August. Can anyone corroborate this? I would have thought it to be October at the earliest (since that's when the 2014's first started arriving last year).
Damn you photobucket.....
Thanks. Same with the 6, at both the GS and GT levels. Interesting that the US 3 GT is over 1K less with manual. Do you have anything from MCI that explains why they have priced the GT MT and AT the same? Also, I've seen the pricing breakdown for the 15s along with options. Is that something you can publish here for others to view?
Hrmm... was on the verge of signing off for a 2014, but now I wonder if I should wait for the 2015, for no other reason then the hope that it would have a few less potential bugs. Of course, that would probably also mean losing some 0% financing years...
Decisions, decisions.
No start/stop and no equipment changes right? Because it doesn't seem like it.
I haven't been able to see any images, apart from the spy shots of the camo car that have been captured. Are there any significant/notable changes visually to the 2015 that set it apart from the 14?
