TM3 Car Meet #3 - Westside Pre-Meet

I would like to organize a Westside pre-meet prior to the official meet on August 7th.

Here you can discuss location of the pre-meet. Location to cater to all westside members planning to attend the official meet at Kennedy Commons.

Some where near HIWAY 401 so the group won\'t get broken up as easily?

How about Dixie/401? There is a Montana\'s and Kelsey\'s next to the Automall. Or at the Courtney Park AMC parking lot.

What time should we meet there, if we agree upon the Courtney Park location?

3ish? It will take about 30-40 mins to get to Kennedy Commons from Courtney Park. We do want to be punctual. so leaving around 3:20 ish should put us in Scarborough around 4.

As always, no excessive speeding during a cruise (~120 km/h on the 401)

The way I see it, we have an FRS radio in the back and one at the front (and other radios scattered throughout the line if we have them). We stay in the middle lane, in the express (Middle, so we don\'t get broken up by merging cars).

Go about 120 km/h. We should be there around 4ish.

This is to confirm Location & Time of the Westside Pre-Meet. This information is considered FINAL:

Westide Pre-Meet Information & Breakdown:

3:00 PM - Meet at North End of the AMC Courtney Park parking lot (across from McDonalds, same place as Meet #1). For those who have never been there, This lot is located on Highway 10 (Aka Hurontario St.) just 2 blocks north of the 401.

3:30 PM - Leave for Kennedy Commons (Approx Driving Time [Traffic Dependent]: 25 Minutes). We will go South on Highway 10 to 401 East, Exit South on Kennedy and Left into Kennedy Commons

4:00 PM - Arrival at Kennedy Commons (Estimated).

Please bring an FRS Compatable radio (eg. Motorola Talk-A-Bout) if you have them, we will use them to communicate throughout the cruise to the Commons and to keep the group together. Please be Punctual, we will leave promptly at 3:30 PM. Be prepared for bugs on the highway, if you want to keep the nose of your car clean, bring a spray bottle of water and a cloth.

For the most part during the cruise, we will be in the middle lane, hopefully doing 120 km/h all the way there if traffic permits.

Hope to see everyone in the Westide at AMC and all members at Kennedy Commons! I will be there at 2:30 PM to claim our area :p

if you\'re on the 401 East and get off at Kennedy, get into the middle lane of the exit ramp to go STRAIGHT into the Kennedy Commons plaza (stop for the light if it is red )

I stand corrected... I haven\'t been to Kennedy Commons for umm.... 2 years. so ya. My memory sucks.
