Interior Sound activated leds?

Anyone know where i can get my hands on one or a set or what there are called i tried looking for them all over the place. I believe they would come in strips or a bar with a sensor to detect the bass of the music or something. If anyone knows where or what site offers this please share would be nice to have.

Well its just so i can understand the electrical side of things i wouldn't do it to a bmw or audi but to learn and get a hands on experience would be nice and i had a friend of mine have them and thought it was pretty cool to have.

Just don't install something that could potentially distract you while driving

Interior leds is one thing but something that could flash could be really distracting

Yeah no i would never have them on while driving just when at tims hanging out just something to add a wow factor. Think its stupid? LOL

when i bought a used car back in 2000, it came with these lights on the back parcel shelf. Super tacky and crazy bright. Such a distraction if you were driving. Promptly ripped them out

Lol yeah i dunno i guess i had it on my mind for awhile. Think i should keep it simple and stick to one single color with no sound activation or non at all?

the ones that came with mine were only blue. If you have no sound activation then they're always on and you're driving with crazy bright blue. With sound activation on, it's annoying. i'd go none at all and put your time/effort to something better. You said you want to learn, but there really isn't anything to learn with those.. you stick them somewhere, then plug them in, either the Cigarette lighter or through an add-a-fuse

My original plan was to have a toggle switch to turn them off and on when i needed it but that makes sense i usually drive alone and it will prob old fast.
