    Default R- compound tires

Hey guys. Just wondering what R-compound tires above a 60 UTQG rating are best (dry weather, tracking only). was looking at the toyo r888s. anyone got an opinion?

also, is it better for r-compound tires to be semi stretched on wheels or beef/squared up on rims for best handling.

    cheers,
    Justin

I only have an answer for your second question. For optimum handling performance you want to go with the maximum recommended wheel width for your choice in tire. So semi stretched?

You can probably get a deal on the Nittos at RimRim. I got my Nitto tires there but not the NT-01.

Go with TD's man. Soft compound. All the SS guys in EVERY class at cscs run em. They are proven to be the fastest. Only a few select shops sell em. Hit up pz, they will give you pricing.
