Subwoofer

Ok, so the car is on the way, but lets face it, bass is necessary. The stock speakers are going to be replaced Rockford Fosgate Punch all around, as well as some nice dual 12\" Punch woofers (I like bass with presence, not volume). Anyway, until a decent replacement is available, the stock head unit will do. The OEM integration looks great. So, continuing on, Im going to take a wild guess that the stock HU has no subwoofer preout. That being said, for those of you who have added a bass box to your car, how and where did you hook it up, where is your audio feed coming from?

You will need to hook up a LOC to the rear of the deck, and then run the RCAs to the amp for the audio in.

Yup I have subs in my car hooked up wiht a LOC. Even wiht the factory headunit it still sounds ok to me

Can you tell me where you got the work done? Cause I don\'t want to start opening up the dash and then screw something up...

I had most of my work done at Kromer Radio (installed 4 channel amp, 4 channel LOC, front separates and rear coaxials) in downtown Toronto. I had an extra amp installed to power my 10 sub by Auto Sound Design (Yonge & Steeles location).
