Mazda 3 GEN3 drivers are WOMEN

I noticed a lot of Gen3 drivers are of the ladies...
i would say i see 5or6 out of 10 are mainly women.
anyone notice this?
My coworker says thats a good thing as my car is a chic magnet...
not sure if thats true

From all the Gen3 I've seen. It has been mostly guys driving them if not all so far. I do notice a lot of women driving Elantras however.

I believe there's actually slightly more females then males in Canada. Apparently in 2010 it was 50.4% of the population were female (http://www.statcan.gc.ca/pub/89-503-.../11475-eng.htm). Maybe most of the guys were home washing their cars instead of driving them?

Lol no, you're right. It's just coincidence at that time or we just see what we want to see. The Miata is a "chick's car" but I rarely see women driving them.

My girlfriend thinks the hatch is more feminine but I think the sedan is. She has affectionately named my hatch "The Ratchback".

This. I don't understand why someone would get a hatch other than for its cargo versatility. Most hatches, with the exception of the Tesla Model S, are not attractive cars to me at all (no offence to anyone who owns a hatch).

I love my sedan to death and I always will. The one thing I would like with a hatch is that there is really nothing separating the trunk with the car. I know my stereo would be aloot louder in a hatch. But I like the look of a sedan much better.

I wouldn't say I am a big fan of hatches either but the Gen2 hatches are really nice The body lines flow well. Still undecided on the Gen3 hatch, at certain angles it looks a bit awkward but at other angles it's nice. The STi hatch is nice and so is the GTI but yeah, I wouldn't pick a hatch over the sedan for myself. Style is subjective and we're all here because we have an admiration for cars so I appreciate other people's taste even though it might not be for me.

Now that you mentioned it I do seem to remember more women driving gen3's than man (admittedly I didn't see the driver every time).
