Default Mixed Feeling on the Tint %

So I got my tint done at 23% all around. that's after lots of looking here and on the web in general. Called AudioHeaven and they say 35% front, 23% rear is the most popular.
The 23% looks good although the front is a little dark at night and during rain. On the other hand, I like the privacy of the 23% and during a bright sunny day, it's nice to have.
    Here are some pics:

Any thoughts on the percentages? Cheers.

I went 20% all around and I love it. Only problem I had was backing out of my buddies driveway. He lives out in the sticks and you can't see anything backing out of the driveway. I was inches away from smashing into a trailer lol. I couldn't imagine what people with 5% tint do backing up.
They say I'm an addict but I don't have a problem with alcohol or drugs. I'm an addict because I can't live without bass. Car audio is my addiction. And it will never change.

I have 20% all around and I'm happy with it.

I had 20% also on my Dakota but since it's a single cab with a grey interior I didn't think 20% was dark enough. With the full black interior on my Mazda I think 20% is just fine for me.

Although I'm always nervous whenever I go to Quebec and the windows are up for whatever be the reason.

Roll down your windows at night.
I have 35/17. You'll be fine with 23% all around. Also watch out for those people that forget to turn on their head lights at night. It's very hard to see them at night especially with tints.

20% and 5% on the back. I installed a backup camera though lol. You get used to it on the front.

I had 23% all around on my first 3 from AudioHeaven and loved it but it was too dark in certain situations. Went 30% ceramic this time around on the new car and loved that even more. Loving the better visibility and better heat rejection.

Went with 23% in the front and 17% in the back. Was a little difficult at first at night and in the rain, but after a while you get used to it.

Does anyone have 30% Ceramic Tint?

I'm worried 23% is too dark and 35% is too light.

@Arbitrageur I have 30% Ceramic from Auto-Links and 23% dyed from AudioHeaven on both my cars and the extra cost is well worth it. It's abount $80-100 more depending on the deals at that time but getting tints is really a one time thing so the extra cost isn't much. It's the perfect % imo. Better visibility and just dark enough for some privacy. The icing on the cake is the heat rejection of the ceramic film. Can't beat getting into my car on a hot day to find it a lot cooler compared to my other car with the dyed tints.

When I went 2 weeks ago, Auto-Links was still doing the group buy discount. Link below for those interested in getting tints or ppf done.

    Great, thanks!

I'll probably give them a shout and ask about both the Ceramic Tint + Tint Tailights.

I'm a part of RFD as well.
I posted what I'd like, but I'm not getting a response.

When I make an appointment, should I just note down that I'm a part of the RFD + Toronto Mazda3 Community??

The 23% on your car looks good. I am planning on getting 35% all around, hopefully nano-ceramic, gotta save some money for that.

Audio heaven doesn't tint the front windshield, nor is it legal so your 23 all around wouldn't affect the front unless you are referring to the front driver window and the passenger side window.

Either way if you just got the tints it just take getting used to. I have 23 all around and love it

I got the 30% all round ceramic. Great a heat reduction during the summer. It made such a huge difference getting into my gf's Mazda 3 vs mine.
I'm happy with how dark the 30% is at night looking from the outside. During the daytime it looks just a tiny bit too light for me. From the inside, I haven't had too much trouble with visibility. Maybe if there are no street lights, then it becomes a slight concern.

Don't listen to him, you can barely tell the difference between 35/23 from outside.

I have 35/20 and would go a bit darker on my next car. It feels dark for the first two weeks when driving but really isn't.
23/15 would be next for me
