    Default Rearview Mirror

Do any of you know how to remove the rearview mirror??

I wanna hang something from it but the loop\'s not
long enough to stretch around the whole mirror,
it\'s just big enough for the stem.

    Thanks,
    Ray

I remember seeing a removal guide somewhere on the \'net, but from what I remember the housing for the rain sensing feature just pops right off which gives you access to the rest of mirror assembly.

Question about rearview mirror; you know how there\'s the arm that is attached between the mirror and the housing on the windshield? The arm seems to be moveable... but I\'ve tried without success (not full force pulling of course). Are you suppose to be able to swivel that arm around (from the joint at the housing)?

I don\'t think the stock mirror can be moved in that way, but someone in the Mazda3Forum did install a mirror off of a Ford Mustang that does swivel. Of course I don\'t know how this impacts the rain sensor.
