STALLING PROBLEM

Ok guys I've had this problem for years. Literally and I still haven't been able to figure it out. From what I''ve noticed it usually happens when I disconnect my battery and reconnect it again that the car idles really rough. Happens when coming to a stoplight. And sometimes the rpm will go up and down and the car will turn off. Then eventually it will stop doing it again. But still idles rough every now and then. Can anyone tell me what this problem could be? OR could recommend a cheap mechanic near mississauga who might be able to fix this problem. I would really appreciate it

Need some vehicle information and mileage. But I would start with a sinple MAF and TB cleaning.

If you disconnect the battery and have not cleaned your TB and MAF sensor in a long time, it will result in poor/rough idling etc.

Not necessarily true...I've never had my MAF or TB cleaned and have had my battery disconnected many times...Only once or twice I had an issue with rough idle, but it went away after so many minutes of driving. It may just be occurring because the PCM is resetting parameters, relearning, which could take anywhere from 0 to 20 minutes or so. Times vary with every car....

Not saying it's not the MAF or TB, always possible, just more likely due to re-computing.
