Used to love fishing at Rice Lake but I found it was way overfished and haven't fished there in a number of years. Has it gotten a little better?
I do love me some fishing though...bass and pike are what I usually go for - occasionally some walleye or perch. Haven't yet caught a Musky although I've never actively fished for them either.

Bit of a long shot bit if you're ever in Algonquin park: Source lake has the nicest lake trout. If you're on the water on the western part of the lake at 6am, you can catch breakfast.

I fish whenever I get the chance.
I don't get out as often as I'd like to, but at least once or twice a month I'm out on Simcoe, Stony, Clear, or Pigeon Lakes.
I usually have to rent a boat but hopefully that changes over the off season
I used to fish off shorelines a lot. But I do have an inflatable with a trolling motor to get into the smaller waters.

Awkward fishing out of it at first - but then you get the wood floor in and it's second nature
I am an avid fishing enthusiast and try to get out once a week during the spring summer and fall. Only problem I have is that I work a 80-90 hour week every week so squeezing in some me time is hard. I live in Shelburne and will travel up to an hour and a half if I know the fishing is good. This summer was me reteaching myself to fly fish and spent every minute I had not working on the rivers with a few times out on the lake in Belleville and flesher ton.
.......GOD GAVE US GAS, SO THAT WE COULD GO FAST......
Would love to have some MAZDA enthusiasts come out and make a day of it
Everyone goes up North eh? Personally I head east toward kingston/Belleville area. Hunting and fishing are great in prince edward county.
I occasionally go to Rice Lake too!
I spent a decent bit of timing living out that way (actually lived right on the Trent River for a while)...definitely tons of good fishing out there. PEC is nice but I actually like North of the 401. Lots of small bodies of water as well as the Trent and Moira rivers amongst many other places to fish. If you go even further north all the way up to Bancroft and surrounding areas the fishing is incredible!
After all this snow - I sure is **** miss fishing.
Anyone fishing this time of year? Picked up a bunch of gear, getting into ice fishing. Walleye fishing out here is some of the best in the world so it looks like I should do alright.
Fishing with out a fishing license is allowed all weekend this weekend due to family day. Heard it on the radio.
