They should fix their metal anti-rust treatment issues first and then we might talk. I put a lot of effort into rustproofing mine and I still have some minor rust on the third brake light, everything else is rust free though.

nope infact if you bought the NC5100... it is actually a 5yr unlimted km Comprehensive.. for now the 6 yr and 7 yr ones do not change.

I expect a pricing reshuffle and tweek on MAP within the next few weeks. long overdue really... hasn't changed since 2011.

While rust on car metal is inevitable, seems too quick on the Mazdas. I do hope that they've made in roads. Regardless, this is good to hear none the less. Having no KM limit for the warranty and only time makes much more sense in my opinion.

Truth be told... average mileage is around 22k a year across the board. still gives the average person 7yrs with a Mits

Unless you purchased a 2014. Unless they apply this to the 2014s this is enough to guarantee I never buy another Mazda again.

In our area (Milton, Georgetown, Halton) we have a high volume of commuters. Either going to Toronto, Mississauga, Oakville or even Kitchener. I've got a few people who go from Cambridge to Toronto every day. Although the Warranty may not apply to everyone, it is a nice to have for those who need it. You are fortunate to have such low mileage on your vehicle. Because of that you will see the benefit of an excellent resale value, the longevity of your car and not having high mileage repairs. There are benefits to both.
