Default Rear wobble noise 2 months after brakes have been replaced?

There is a noise coming from the rear of my 2007 Mazda 3 GT when rolling at slow speed that goes away if I touch the brakes. I just installed all new(front and back) oem pads and rotors 2 months ago and they were fine. I took apart the rear brakes but eveything seems tight. I tried to spin the wheel while it was up in the air but there was no noise. I assume it has to come from the brakes because it disappears when I apply the brakes. the only thing I notice is that I was able to reinstall the anti rattle clip by hand without using a screw drive and applying pressure to put it back into place, could that be it?

I only used sand paper because that's the only thing I have. I don't have an air compressor so I couldn't use my die grinder. You think that could be it? I'll buy some brush to put on the end of my drill and i'll clean the hub to see if that helps. If there is some rust left, do you think it would cause the noise to start 2 months after being installed?

I had something happen like this when we did a wheel bearing just didn't have the rotor on 100 % flush and it would cause a noise during rotation. was hitting the pad ever so slight. but then when re set it was gone. don't leave it too long. could wear the pad uneven.

Well I cleaned the hub on where the noise was coming from but the noise is still there. I got no idea what it could be. I notice the noise goes away when I swerve hard(can't remember if right or left) and also the noise goes away when I apply the brakes. The other day it wasn't making the noise and as soon as I pulled out of the car wash it started making the noise. I also check both rear wheels for plays and everything is tight. Does anyone have any other suggestions where the noise might come from?

Have you determined if it's coming from one side only? Can you spin the tire or tires by hand and make it happen?

I think it's coming only from the rear left hand side and I can't spin the wheel fast enough by hand to make the noise appear. Also maybe it only does the noise under load, I am not sure how I would replicate that, I would have to apply road force and spin the wheel at the same time on jack stands? It's hard to diagnose at least if it would of been the front wheels I could of put the car in drive to turn the wheels but in the rear I am not sure what could be done.

I wouldn't try to replicate load. I'd go through the brakes on that side again. Inspect everything, lube the calliper slide pins and replace the rattle clip if it seems weak

Actually how much tension should there be on the rattle clip? Mine didn't seem that tight, I put it back on with my fingers and tapped it in the holes with a hammer to make sure it sits right.

Hmm the simple answer would be enough tension so nothing can rattle. With the wheel off see if you can 'wiggle' your pads at all.

I take it apart and have a look. I notice one way for the noise the stop is if I pull the hand brake hard then the noise stops, unlike when pressing the brake pedal the noise stops and returns with the handbrakes it doesn't come back.

The other thing I though about is adjusting the e-brake to bring the piston closer to the pads and keep more tension on them but I adjusted my e-brake and the rattle is still there. I bought new anti rattle springs and I will install those to see if they help. I hope thats it because I don't know what to try next.
