    Default Things that Suck

Today I picked my son up from Karate. The Plaza is odd as most are so I proceed with caution.

There is a stop sign prior to turning right to exit. This is where I was stopped. Lady in a Toyota Highlander Hybrid turns into the plaza. You need to enter and either turn right or go left around the person at the stop sign. Plenty of room to go around (2 cars wide). She turns into me, clips my bumper and takes of my license plate. I scream. My son cries.

She says I 'rolled' and she panicked. Lol In a manual transmission lady all I'm gonna do is roll back. I was clearly at the stop sign.

It doesn't look so bad for me. Her car was far worse but with a leased vehicle I don't want to be dinged for all the scrape marks. Gonna get the guys to have a look tomorrow. Never know.

Going to report it just in case.

Have to say that Achilles Mazda plate frame is incredibly durable.

Not necessarily. If you're stopped, and they hit you, then you shouldn't get any fault on it, even in a parking lot. Of course, if she says you were rolling forward and you say you weren't and there's no witnesses... well... that's probably not good.

I was on an incline. My son was in the car. She was on her own. And a mile of room around her. She couldn't navigate her ginormous SUV.

No one can really navigate those things. I don't know why people drive them if they can't have proper control of them

I've been using a dashcam for two years now, and have used that exact line once before. Their face when they saw the camera in front of them was priceless.

Queue the Simpsons episode where Mr Burns doesn't want to pay Homer a reward for finding his teddy bear, (claiming he's strapped for cash). Two seconds later the ceiling collapses showering Mr. Burns with gold coins, jewels, and a gold crown falls on his head.

    Things that suck:

Opened my door and it slipped out of my hand and into the bricks on the side of my house. I'll have to touch it up in the spring.

Everyone is different in a sense, he obviously knew he was in the wrong. He probably wanted to avoid an insurance claim think that you were wanting to get insurance involved so that's what he did. I had a situation where I was backing out of my driveway and I was basically already in the centre lane (I live on a busy street) and my neighbour across the street was backing out also into the centre lane to go in the opposite direction from me. I was looking in my rear veiw mirror and I see the guy keep coming out. I started to honk the horn repeatedly. He wasn't paying attention and kept going until he tapped me. So we both got out he's looking at the cars I ask if he's okay (instincts) and he goes right away "I'm sorry sorry sorry if you have damage I pay you" I looked at my bumper there was no damage so I told the guy don't worry. Atleast I did a good deed...... right
