Things that suck? Hmm, had duallys fall/rip off a truck this week. Presumably from coming loose but they were put on in November and re-torqued afterwards and fine until last Sunday. No one to blame but myself for not checking them, sheared all the studs off and one 19.5 truck rim rolled about 400' down a steep bank in the snow. Even worse I was dressed for dinner and had my wife and daughter in the truck.
Monday drove another plow truck that I built but haven't ever driven myself only to discover that when I put a new front axle in I read the rear axle tag wrong. Ive done a lot of stupid things in life but this rates quite high up there imo.
So I've done a lot of wrenching on trucks this week as I fixed the 1st truck, fixed most of the 2nd truck and re-installed a motor and tranny in a 3rd truck that was already in my shop.

Those are some of the worst pictures I have ever seen.
I love it when people get stuck. Pulled a lady out yesterday.

No Again.
Insurance companies merely follow the fault determination rules outlined by FSCO. They do not get to determine fault outside these guidelines.
If your insurance company receives a report, you have a claim. They don't decide to open a claim based upon damages. The only question is whether they pay out money or not. Whether money is paid out or not is irrelevant. An at-fault loss with $0 paid out is the same as an at-fault loss with $1,000,000 paid out. Both are rateable.
In your instance, you *should* be 0% at fault and your insurance will repair your car for free and the claim will not be rateable.

Kidney stones.... now that sucks.
Thanks for clearing that up. I had a friend who was in a parking lot driving up and down the lanes looking for a space. As he was going down one lane a person in their car was reversing out of their parking space and hit his drivers fender. The person who was reversing out was at fault......... anyway what happens if there is an accident in a parking lot and fault for some reason cannot be determined. what happens then in terms of repairing cars and insurance covering the costs
