Last year I had two super long and heavy pieces of wood in my car and this girl behind me insisted on riding my ass which was making me nervous. I probably shouldn't have gotten out of the car to say something to her because people can be nuts but whatever I did. She no word of a lie had stopped a hair width away from my bumper. I walked up to her window and said "Get off my ass because if you eff up and slam into the back of me a giant piece of wood will likely come smashing thru your window and it's not going to be pretty"

By the next intersection she had changed lanes lol

@Raf_C try to find a guy that comes to car shows. My one door was right ****ed, body shop quoted me something ridiculous like $700 for a PDR. ding guy did it for $80, and it was good as new when he was done.

Just had it estimated by Auto Magicians in Mississauga at 90 bucks with a tm3 discount. Not bad at all

Sitting in traffic for 15 minutes trying to go 100m down the hill on York Mills [WB] from Bayview to yonge St. Someone collided in the intersection.

1 lane York Mills [WB] and 1 lane yonge street [NB].

I was stopped at a light going [NB] on yonge, rolled down the window and warned 4 drivers going to York Mills of the crash. Told them to turn left and head to avenue. 20 min going down that hill....

I had a run in with a pedestrian 15 min. Ago....

I Am really thankful I didn't hit her. Driving South bound on St. George just south of Dupont. There is an unlit section of road + its raining + night time.

She was texting, not looking before crossing, wearing matte black coat and pants, absolutely no reflections or anything to catch my headlight until I was close. I sat on the horn and she flipped me off.

I stopped maybe 8-10 feet from hitting her. If I were going faster than 35kph: I'd be filling out a police report right now.

You would think she would have a very basic evolutionary trait of self preservation.... But no. Texting whomever it was is more important to her than her life is.

Good timing: New brake rotors and pads go on this Saturday :p

Thank God you stopped in time! But this phone in hand while walking is a serious problem. Almost everyone is with their phones in hands while walking/crossing roads. It doesn't click in one's head that they need to look out for themselves as a pedestrian also?

This has reached epidemic numbers nowadays, just look at our last rainstorm some 14 pedestrians were hit. These pedestrians seem to have lost any sense, wearing earphones looking at their phones, wearing dark clothing and worst of all not 'paying' attention to their surroundings. Its just comes down to stupidity...whether they have the right of way or not they should be using caution at all times...I guess that's not drilled into them enough as the media always puts the emphasis on drivers, which is total bullshit.

Is that because, compared to the MS3, the Civic is lacking in flair?

Me too. Luckily, I was able to react quickly. The damage isn't all that bad. Not ideal, but not terrible.

Sucks it wasn't reduced at all, but 30 over in an 80kmhr zone is asking for a ticket.

Well, on my drive back into work this morning, I didn't see a dead deer. So I assume he was alive enough to go somewhere that wasn't the side of the road. I've seen at least 4 deer on that road, different spots in my 20km drive of it, and this is the first one I've come into contact with. If I had veered more to the left I might have been able to miss him completely, but I was travelling at 80km/h and was able to slow down enough to be at 20km/h when I hit the deer.

When people cut right in at the very end of the line, where the 400 separates off into the 401 East and 401 West. I should have recorded the amount of people that cut in right at the end, after passing the ten minute traffic line the rest of us were sitting in. One or two I'm okay with, but there were about ten people just in front of me or the car behind or in front, in less than last 1km of the stretch. I even had someone who went right up to the barrier to cut in. I understand some people don't want to/have time to wait, but suck it up. The bitterness from only 1 hour of sleep this morning probably did not help, but it is the reason I tend to avoid that stretch of the highway in the mornings. Too many 's for my liking.
