launch control question

Hi sorry for the noon question. I have my launch control set for 4500. Put now I can't rev past 4500. I push the gas even with the car in neutral and clutch out and it would still hit 4500. Is there a way around this so that I can rev past it ?

do you mean that when your driving in gear you cant get past 4500 rpm?

No driving is fine just in neutral I can't go past 4500

because you have it set to 4500.....

if you want to hit the redline in neutral you need to up your limit past the redline, in other words turn the launch control off.

Really that's the only way? /: it would make more sense if the lc was activated when in first gear with clutch down obviously..

well that's not the way it works on this car

If you want a more sophisticated launch control, you're going to have to buy a GTR I'm afraid

Nope. Launch control at 4500rpm will do nothing but smoke the tires and reving the engine under no load with put unnecessary wear and tear on motor mounts amongst other things but its your car not mine. Have fun!

I don't even use the lc I jus have it set and I only questioned about how to rev it past 4500 when not trying to activate the lc bUT I guess you can't do that with this car. I don't need to kno what happens with lc I know what it does

Go into ATR and set it to 6900 rpm
