Your window is a little large. What mileage are you looking for? Just a DD, AutoX, lapping?
Michelin Pilot Super Sports aren't a bad choice and somewhat of a do-it-all.

Michelin Pilot Super Sport is probably the best bet. They offer a 50,000km treadwear warranty. You will need to use 225/45R18 95Y as they do not have a tire exactly like the stock tire specs. They are a 300 treadwear which is great. They are sticky but also quiet and have GREAT wet traction.
There are many other options, but I do not personally think that anyone makes a tire which is so good in ALL of the areas. You will get stickier tires, but they roar on the highway and have crap treadwear. You will get better treadwear tires, but they will not be near as sticky. The PSS strike an almost perfect middle.

Thanks for the help all
I didn't know the Gen2 went up to 225. I thought they were still 215 like the Gen1.You just need to make sure that you get the proper weight rating. I know it is a 93Y on the Gen1, not sure about the Gen2 though. So if you want 225/45R18 in the PSS, you have to go to 95Y, because you NEVER want to go softer than the recommended sidewall strength.
I had one the fronts wearing faster than the rears (shock I know), so I took my car to Tire Craft and no questions asked they replaced them. It was amazing. I was only at 20,000kms when it happened. The rears are now on the front and look great after 40,000kms
I have a 2010 Speed 3 (no mods) and replaced the stock Dunlops last summer with Pilot Super Sports (225/40/18) and wow, what a difference! Less hydroplaning, less noise and the ride feels more compliant. Paid about $1000 all in, so they're not cheap. But a far better tire IMO.
Another vote for Michelin Pilot SS. Had them on my 4200 lbs Allroad, and they were fantastic.
I'm running 245/40/18 PSS on my MS3 and they're great!
Last fall, before putting the snows on my 2010 RX8, I replaced my older Bridgestone Potenza RE050A with
'Continental ExtremeContact DW's ' Max Performance Summers , which I got from Tires 23 for a great price.
They are amaizing, quite and handle the roads quite well i must say. Check hem out.

I bought them as well. The sidewall is super soft once it gets hot and doesn't do well in the corners. This guy is obviously going for performance so I wouldn't recommend these for that.
For a DD though the ExtremeContact DW's are absolutely fantastic. My first tires I've had on my speed that didn't get ruined by the aggressive alignment.
I have a set of NT-05 and they are quite nice. Sticky, lots of grip and pretty stiff sidewall. They are quite a fun set of tires but you do sacrifice tread wear, if that is any concern.
