thanks for coming out and showing real interest. hope it was helpful

as for future meets, there needs to be more real interest other than signing up and not showing. I might do another meet in the future if there is enough want for one, other than that, there will be no more for the foreseeable future.

Sorry I couldn't attend Justin, had a bit of a hectic weekend. I'm sure whoever attended learned a bunch though! Hopefully members can show more interest in the future and take advantage of this favor you're providing. I shall keep my eyes open for a potential Round 2

I would have loved to attend but couldn't. I wish there were an online tutorial for beginners. Epifans videos are good buy they dont explain much about the basic tuning concepts or where to begin.

Somebody help! Im not any help with video editing.
How about just a text explination.
I have the personal version registered to my car and computure.
I did a couple logs... what should i be focusing on? The knock retard? Timing? Cam timing? AFR? What will i be making changes to when i am looking for more performance? I have a 2013 skyactiv 2.0

Sorry for raising this thread back up...
When tuning the VVT values, is it safe to assume that increasing the numbers is advancing the valves?

I hope you got your answer...

    In case ppl are wondering:
If you got an aftermarket intake, it's best to start a MAF calibration.

With our skyactiv engines and with the MazdaEdit personal, there's only so much we can do because of the complexity of the tech.
For now: MAF calibration, then VVT... only ones I remember atm

You need to start with MAF calibration as all of the calculations are based on it. Then you can mock with Afr.

I recently had the opportunity to work with @nepal1344 on his hybrid 2.5l motor 2.0l ecu/parts. It took a few revisions to get it to work out, but it was fun to help out another member who was having difficulty with someone else's tune. If anyone still needs help with mazdaedit
or other software, just pm me. Software that I am comfortable with is (Cars>Mazdaedit, Brzedit, Openflash, Osiris/Revup,--- Bikes> Ftecu Flash w/qs, powercommander, bazzaz). Dabbled a bit with Cobb for 2015 wrx+, and woolich racing for bikes. Or if you just wanna talk tuning or modding, pm me. Keeping the spirit of "open-Source", the help and any knowledge is free.

no point in doing meets, because last time i offered it, only a few people showed up lol. wow this was 2 yrs ago already.

I'm a total newbie to tuning but would love to learn about it. Was wondering if any kind of performance boost would be possible on a 2.0L non-Skyactiv with a CS SRI and CS exhaust + RP & high-flow cat but otherwise stock.

CS website (from memory) 8-10whp gain on stock tune. With a OV Tune you would gain an additional 10 whp.

Plus there are other gains available,... let me know i can list them... let me know
