    Question P2507 code on 2005 mz3

    Hi guys,
    My car threw the code P2507 "PCM B+ voltage low", wiring and connectors are in good condition, it is possible that the battery is in poor condition? or a damaged fuse? The car sometimes is stalling on stop but starts up right away.

    Definitely check the battery condition.

    Also try some of the following for a possible resolution.

    "I am working on a 2006 mazda 3 sport. It took me a while to figure out which fuse was the EEC. it turned out to be the 2nd one back from the front of car, closet to the motor if that helps anyone. The fuse turned out to be good, so after searching around for the obvious with no luck, I decided to carefully split the fuse box open, you have to un-plg the wiring harness to the PCM. I was able to seperate it enough to see the corrosion on the back side of the fuse terminal and found a little red wire that had fallen off. I didn't feel like trying to mess around in those tight quarters and put the wire back in the oem spot. so I fished a wire through an empty fuse slot and solder in an in-line fuse and went to the battery for power.... Erased the code and it seems to be working great so far... Good luck to anyone with the same issue hope this helps."

    Like the OP said, just split the box and you will see the corrosion and likely broken wires

    Does p2507 refers to an ECM problem? I think so.

    Yes, its a low voltage reading for the ECM, it could be for several reasons, and several mentioned in the above posts. Check you battery, or bad connections, or the fuse, etc;
