Hey forum I've been on here for a while gathering info and getting to know the Mazda 3 crowd. I bought my 07 mazdaspeed3 in October last year. I joined the mazdaspeed forum but did not really like it a whole lot. Looks a lot more welcoming here. My car came close to stock it has an injen cai, sportline lowering springs, and apexi turbo timer. I just recently bought new plugs to get rid of my misfire and ordered a set of koni Orange shocks. Now I am on the hunt for a new set of springs hopefully a set of stock springs or something with an inch or less drop. I did keep a set of rims and tires from my rx8 that I traded hopefully I can put them on once my car has a good suspension back under it.

Thanks all. Today's the day I'll be doing my plug swap and compression test. Hopefully everything goes good. Anyone have any advice on anything else to look for while I'm there?

no smoking turbo

Got my new plugs in and the old ones looked like the originals they still had the fomoco name on them and were looking burnt on the white section. I also got the compression test done. From left to right the numbers were 170 170 160 170. Cylinder 3 was also the one that had the misfire.

some rotella T6 motor oil for your next oil change

I take it by most ms3 guys using the t6 that it's the best oil available. The dealer that I got the car from put in amsoil.

Amsoil is best bro. And changing synthetic oils is going to take a bit for your engine to get used to, just so you know.
