I use the Broadway mirror to keep tabs on my kids in the backseat of the Lancer
They do help somewhat with the blind spots in a sedan.
But if you need help with the rear view - look into the wink mirrors....
They dont look stupid or out of place.
Its actually one of the first things non car people notice in my car. It is really great, i can set it to help me see my pass. side blind spot while still seeing behind me

I was hit by flying French fries during a car accident once. Almost took out my eye.
Just saying - in a car accident ANYTHING in the car can be considered dangerous if it's not tied or bolted down.

I had one ... I hit a deer going 120 km/h and the mirror stood its ground!!

As I said on the post it was not meant to be offensive, it was a joke so your post is completely redundant. "Space sunglasses" is not a medical term nor is it used to describe the type if glasses you are referig to. The visual aid I used were in comparisson to regular sunglasses. Just like the mirror in this topic. Sorry if that offended you, JOKES can offensive only to those who allow, make it to be or take life too seriously. Lighten up, smell the roses, stay on topic.
Thanks.

i've got one. blue tinted to reduce glare from behind. it works really well.
it was also to cover up my original one, which looked like someone chipped it in the corner. bought the car used like that.
This post just shows your ignorance, my wife like many people has a vision problem wherin her eyes are highly sensitive to light, she has to wear these so called space sunglasses to limit light coming into her eyes, yep they are regular sunglasses not prescription and yes they are ugly and can hardly be called a fashion statement especially for a woman. So I don't need to lighten up or stay on topic although you didn't mean anything offensive I stand by my original statement that it was.
Pat.
i have a broadway. its good, i like it. i can see things behind me.

Actually the ignorance comes from you or is it need for attention? There are plenty of options out there if you have a condition, you can pick a variety of sunglasses or even designer (yes in case you didn't know they make them too) that look like any other regular sunglasses that still seals the light out so if anyone who choses to wear "ugly" or glasses that don't make a "fashion statement" as you so put it , it is their own choice.
Just for the kick of it, the sunglasses in my post is far from the glasses used by people who have any sort of eye/vision condition, they are disposable for post eye surgery and I have yet to see anyone wear these any longer than they need to recover, my dad barely wore it for the time he was supposed to after his eye surgery and this was 15-20 years ago when "fashion" didn't really matter.
Internet is a great free place and if it makes you feel better and sleep at night to go by forums and pick a post(s) that in your opinion are offensive to you, its you're right. Like I said, jokes are only offensive to those who make it to be. So yes you do need to lighten up and yes you need to stay on topic as so far you have not expressed anywhere in your posts what your opinion of putting one of these mirrors on a car is, which just proves my point.
I'm done answering anything else you may have to say on this topic. If you feel like discussing this further feel free to PM me, otherwise stay on topic and help out the OP.
Cheers.
I have one of these mirrors. I was going to post a picture but won't. It's helpful. To say the least
