In the extremely unfortunate event the Ottawa site doesn't come back up, I wonder how people would feel about asking for an Ottawa sub-forum here. Maybe in the "Lounge" group or something. There's a lot of value in having a spot to talk about local vendors/meets/whatever.

Some bad news Appears the host deleted some of the config files in the backups and as a result the backups are currently unusable. As it stands now, the OMC won't be back anytime soon

Right now trying to see if the host can fix the problem they created and if not, I can get it back up but with a lot older backup so a ton of data will be missing.

Sorry for posting this here but I was hoping our Ottawa members could help me out:

I have 2010 Mazda 3, and the driver's side automatic window suddenly stopped working yesterday. I have done a bit of searching online and this seems like a frequent problem with Mazda 3's. I have tried slamming the door hard (repeatedly), pushing the window up/down, etc but have had no luck. Now it is rolled down about 2 inches but it is stuck there and I can not bring it all the way back up. My understanding that it is either a motor failure or a switch problem.

Anyone know of a good shop in Ottawa that could have a look at this and wouldn't charge me an arm and a leg?
