Didn't we already have a TM3 IG account? It obviously wasn't very actively used or anything lol but I swear we had one.

Yep so what we've done is taken that old IG account and got it back up and running since Ami needed someone to be devoted to it. We had many great convos this weekend at mosport Since we are reintroducing it I wanted to get a solid list of member and their accounts based on who is active now...easiest way to that I figured is to start fresh so members don't think that it's just a one off that someone posted in the old list Sorry, I'm a Project Manager in real life and it tends to also lead into my personal life so I will always start from scratch something that I need to execute a "project" successfully... #nerd

As we all know, social media is the way to go for marketing ourselves and our community and if we want to have more opportunities both individually and as a whole we need to bring the TM3 account up to speed. Many of us belong/are affiliated with other crews and often we find out about them and connect with them via social media; especially IG. The point of this is to put faces to names and build a following because you never know who has connections and what they have to offer. #TM3sponsors. It's also a nice way of knowing who the mystery members are who don't have plate covers or decals...

Anyway...it's by no means mandatory and I won't be calling out anyone that I have on my personal account if they don't list themselves here. I will add names I see here to mine because I genuinely love seeing everyone's mods and personal twists on a car that is otherwise mainstream #MazdaPorn. Fair enough if you want to see first if we can live up to the expectations...lol

Just a helpful tip maybe for the posts and making the account get more notice, and figured this would be the best place to post it,
I think you guys should maybe try adding a few more hashtags (the one time more hashtags is acceptable) just helps bring more notice/followers if there were more popular hashtags and such so the account comes up while people are searching for car pictures/accounts.
I'm not sure which ones TM3 wants to associate with, but maybe some people can post up in here or another thread some popular tags that could be used in the Instagram posts, or tags they frequently look at, or like, or know are popular. Just an idea to bring some more notice/following to the account. I would just check out some of the popular car accounts to find some of the best/most searched ones. Compile a list and then you can add it to all the pictures posted. Unless the account is just meant more strictly for TM3 members, but the more followers, the more incentive for people to DM you pictures to post and such.

I 100% agree! Lol I love the idea of people giving us suggestions here...I'm so old up until like 6 months ago I was still going on about how # is a pound sign; what the hell is a hashtag

Good idea. I should start by including the hashtags that @FD22 posts. Need to save them to a file for easy posting .
