    Default 2178 2188 codes

    So I been getting the codes 2178 to rich on off idle and 2188 to rich at idle I took my maf sensor off and cleaned it and I'm still getting 2188 what causes this code and what's the fix ? Also I got cyl 4 misfire once and also I have Cobb fmic ,turbosmart recir,corksport Sri and inlet and autotech hpfp when I flash it to stage 1+ic it stumbles through first and second and is boggy when I flash it to just stage one it doesn't have these problems please help people

    Maf calibration needed for the mods. This happened to me last month

    Usually the mods increase Air flow so you get more oxygen and less fuel causing lean condition not rich. Unless this has something to do eith hpfp?

    Not if the maf thinks it's getting more air than it actually is then it will run rich

    Do you have the right map for your intake? I have the CS intake as well and when I used the standard map I got the too rich cel. Found the CS specific map loaded it and no more cel.

    What Map was it? for the CS one i get the CEL every now and then saying running to rich.

    Yah it's a corksport I have all new plugs and yah I feel it's cobbs ots map that is messing with it due to diffrent intake
