Default Water leak in passenger foot well (2010 mazda 3)

hello friends, Really got disappointed after finding a water leak in passenger foot well.First i found wet carpet at rear passenger side and i thought kids must have spilled some water but then i checked the front passenger foot well and it seems like water is seaping from the seam.Car is 2010 mazda3 2.0 hatchback canadian model with 66000 kms.New car warranty expired in june 2015.Car was never in an accident.
I have removed the wheel well splash guard and found no damaged or cracked seam filler.I also removed the engine cowling and found nothing.Drains are fine and water is draining properly and no leaves or anything.
I have attached some pics and water is seeping right where the arrow is.

Thanks for the reply but it can't be heater core or A/C drain because its not coming from the HVAC unit and water is clear and odorless. No loss of coolant.Water is seeping only in a rain or while running a hose of water on the windshield and over the cowling.

Only other thing I can think of is the windshield, the seal may be compromised.

Is the car rust proofed? Id jack the car up and check the drains below the car that they are not plugged.

no the car is not rust proofed.I am not aware of drains below the car.Could you please give me an idea where the drains would be?All the water from windshield area drains in to the plastic cowling and from cowling it drains into the open space over the wheel well splash guard.

There may be a drain clogged at the top of the hood by the windshield. My friends infinity had this issue. Could be leaf debris clogging it.

you would literally have to lift it up. they are in the floors theres drains through the doors. all sorts of places. I couldn't give you exact locations.

    Update:
I bought this car used in April 2015 and the weather was dry for couple of months until last month when it started raining and when i noticed leak.
I took it to the dealer and they refused to honor any warranty work and then i called Mazda Canada and they also declined. Then i took it to local body shops and none of them were willing to work on and were saying could be $1000~$2000 amount of work as they will have to rip apart the dashboard and windscreen to diagnose the leak.So after getting frustrated,i tried to look at it myself.I removed the wheel and plastic splash guard and examined it while car was parked in the slanted driveway.I sprayed the windshield with water and carefully noticed the path of water.
I found 2 reasons why water was leaking.First it was a non sealed seam from factory under the front wheel well.Second my drive way is little slanted. So water was flowing out from the drain in the cowling under the wipers and was flowing back into the panels via non sealed body seam.
I then bought body seam sealer from local autoparts store and sealed all the seams.I didn't seal anything from inside the car.
I am attaching the pics as it can help someone in future.I had to remove the carpet to dry it properly.
So far no water leak.(knock on the wood)
