    Default suspension

I had my car serviced yesterday, and installed new front struts/springs and mounts.
    Afterwards, an alignment was performed.

Today, i have noticed that there is a knocking sound coming from the right front that is a new sound
I am thinking it could either be
    1. improper torquing of lug nuts
    2. struts not fastened properly.
    3. other (your opinion or other option)

If it is the struts not fastened, is the alignment affected by that?

    opinions?

I would suggest you take it back to the place that serviced your car. Start there as they did all of the work.

It could be anything at this point but if the noise wasn't there before it is probably related to whatever was done yesterday.

    3. Springs settling in? Had some sounds coming from suspension after I got new struts and springs. Was gone after a couple of weeks. Maybe?

Could be it. Could be the springs not seated properly either.

But I'd definitely take this option first, before wasting your time and resources trying to diagnose it yourself.

Depending on the sound, I would wager $5 that it's your sway bar end links. It's always those ****ers.

Ultimately if something is messed and they need to fix something that affects the alignment, I would expect them to do another alignment at no cost.

Is the knocking noise only whenever you go over a bump? It's definitely sway bar links. If it's not too late, but at least you learn something...
