06 Rear Bumper on 07

What does it take to get the 06 rear bumper to fit on my 07? I have a 07 sedan and i bought a 06 rear bumper because mine was damaged. Thought it would fit but it doesnt. Do i need to change the foam piece? Help!

When I put an 09 bumper on my 04 I had to modify the foam pretty significantly. Other than that it should fit fine if its sedan to sedan.

i tried fitting it on, but it seemed too small. im going to get the foam piece tonight and hope it fits.

Yep it should fit the same with the modified/swapped foam.

thanks, went back to the junkyard and picked up the foam piece. Now the bumper fits well

is this only if you're going sedan to hatch and vice versa? or will the foam need to be modifed if i put a later bumper on. My clips on the one side are broken and even though it's riveted its still popping off. I was thinking of going late gen 1 since i like the lower black portion compared to my 04 bumper.
