2015 GX Halogen Headlight Upgrade To Aftermarket GT LED & HID Assembly

Hi guys,

I just bought a 2015 Mazda 3 GT aftermarket LED daytime running light & HID headlight assembly, but unfortunately I found its socket doesn't match the original one (See picture link below, left is the aftermarket one & right is the OEM). Actually I also bought the GT aftermarket LED taillight assembly but it matched perfectly with my GX model.

Then I was thinking, my GX is almost the lowest trim without the auto-headlight, is it the problem with my GX manual headlight? Does any one know his GX/GS auto-headlight socket match the above socket on the left?

If it is, then at least I know that the GT aftermarket headlight assembly can probably be installed on the auto-headlight model. And I'll try my best to find someone replace the socket for me (Any suggestions? Can dealer do it, or any other shop?) because the headlight, though it's not the OEM one, is so amazing (See some pics below)!!!

If no one can replace the matched socket for me, then probably I've to resale to any one in the forum who's interested in it (I bought it at a really low price so almost impossible to return ).

Whole lot of rewiring would have to go into that. Auto leveling wouldn't work, led's would need to be tapped into. If you don't mind spending some money and time without your car, I'm sure a shop can do it

Does that aftermarket assembly even have auto-leveling feature?

Also I don't if I would trust some cheap aftermarket headlights as well. There's a reason why they are cheap and to me headlights are pretty important safety feature.

The problem with the headlights is you are going from a projection beam with separate dtrl halogen bulb to a combined LED/Xenon unit. You are not only changing the voltage, but how it functions. The GT headlamps are manually leveling unless the car has the adaptive lighting system. You could maybe potentially install the manual leveller control but not even sure how you'd go about that. Changing the headlamps is such a complex thing our Parts Manager always says it cannot be done.
