Hey everyone,

I'm picking up an '08 MS3! It's going in to see Jimmy at Street Performance to get a look over tomorrow morning but I believe the car is in really good shape! Stoked to learn a ton about this car, hopefully get out to some meets this summer in the York Region area!

I'm actually at work in Nunavut for the next 2 weeks but my dad is meeting the seller at Jimmys around 11. It's a white MS3 you won't miss it lol. If all goes well it's going to be sitting in my driveway waiting for me till the 31st

Yes sir wheels are included. I still haven't seen the car in person but I trust Jimmy and the bald guy there (my dad).. How's the stretch look on those tires? Thinking a 215/35 might be a little overdone on a 18x9... but the tires are only 2 weeks old apparently lol

Lots of little things, bushings, brakes, leaky boots, etc.. suspension was not what it was said to be, and to top it off I guess the 07/08 has problem with the engine which was fixed in the 2008.5, Jimmy said it could need a full rebuild in less than a year... could be in as little as a week. So I passed on it!

It was funny watching him try to drive it into Jimmy's bay on account of it being really low. He had to go in the back entrance and even then, it was still a struggle.

Good thing you passed. The 2.3 is a good motor but just like anything has to be maintained. Sounds like it was driven and modded on a cheap budget.

Do you guys know exactly what the issue is with the motor in the 07-08s? I was told they resolved the problem in the 2008.5 MS3.
