In many cases yes they will fit fine. You need to state the specific models. E.g. tires from 2005 GX will not fit a 2013/2013 GT. The GF has 15" tires, GS 16", GT 17"

I looked up wheels, 16-inch between 2007 and 2016 are exactly the same.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't 16" Gen 1 and 2 wheels use 205/55r16 while gen 3 uses 205/60r16? Those are different diameters and not recommended (see http://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Tire-...5R16/205-60R16), they'd throw off the speedometer/odometer and can affect things like antilock brakes. This doesn't apply to OPs question though since he was asking about gen 1 vs gen 2
