Ok. So I got my 2016 Mazda 3 Sport on Thursday and it rained on Friday night. Went out to my car and there were water spots all over the windows and body. They were bugging the hell out of me so I took it through a car wash; problem solved - or so I thought. Went to Walmart to buy a microfibre cloth that was labeled "for drying" and hold 7x its weight in water just to clean off the excess water and by the time I got home the spots were back! I wiped the rear window with the cloth and noticed the cloth was leaving mini fibres on my glass and suddenly there were two scratches there. They're small and you have to "look" for them but I want my car to be perfect - I mean I JUST bought you!
Now to the purpose of my post: where can I learn to detail my own car - including buying the RIGHT product so that I don't scratch my vehicle or create swirls? I know there are ways to repair that tiny scratch too, and I'll be doing that myself. Ideally I'll be cleaning my car every weekend as a new hobby, with rinses throughout the week to get rid of the day to day crap. Pops picked up a power washer at Walmart for some other application but I figure I could use that to clean my car too.
Any help is appreciated.
