Default Star crack windshield repair recommendation - long weekend

Hey guys. Windshield just got hit by a rock and has a star crack. Was wondering if anyone had recommendations near Hamilton of where to get it repaired tomorrow (Saturday)? I thought it was supposed to be HAPPY Canada day...

That might not even be repairable, there are cracks already emanating from the chip, good luck.

Go to speedyglass. Majority of the insurance cover windshield repairs. If it needs replacement ur just gonna pay deductible.
I have been in a similar situation in the winter and mine looks just like yours. They told me that they will try to fill in the crack and chip but theres a chance that it will spread cause they use pressure tool to put fillers into the cracks. They filled mine but the chip and crack is still noticeable but as long as it doesnt spread Im fine having that tiny imperfection on my windshield.
You can also try your luck with Windshield repair kit that they sell in canadian tire or walmart or in amazon and ebay.

That hairline crack is going to spread if it doesn't get addressed soon.

I got it "fixed" at a nearby shop that had good reviews. I was watching them do it and the tool they used didn't cover the whole surface area of the damage where cracks are extending to the left and right. I questioned about it and the guy said the cracks are filled with resin but it won't completely disappear. I was under the impression that the whole area would have to be covered for the resin to fill into the cracks as a vacuum would need to be created. It does look better but the cracks are still easily noticeable. Comprehensive insurance covered the cost of the repair without affecting anything but I think I'll take it to another shop for a second opinion. It's a bit reassuring that yours filled similar to mine. Thanks for the reply, @credential23
