    Default Boost loss

Hey all, just bought 2013 speed3 and was wondering if between gears you should lose all boost from wot. I've owned a couple grand nationals and never had this problem but they were autos. Any input would be awesome.
    Thanks

When you shift the bypass valve opens and all the pressurized air is recirculated back pre-turbo. So yes, the boost is all "lost" but the turbo is still spinning and it rebuilds boost very quickly.
