Your going to have to give a bit more info such as how big and deep are the scratches, location, your technical ability, your budget. Pictures would help. With non of the above your best answer is to visit a few body shops and get estimates.
i was trying to post some photos but i dont know how. anyways, thank you for replaying back
try using photobucket. create an account, upload the photos and use the "img" hot link and paste it in reply
1991 Nissan Pathfinder - trade in, 2005 Mazda 3 GX ty grey - Write off, 2010 Mazda 3 GT E sedan CWP- trade in, 2010 Speed 3 w/tech CWP - Up for sale (soon), 2007 Mazda 3 GS silver- motor swapped in to 2009 MS3 CWP that had blown engine, 2002 BMW 330ci silver- new winter ride, 2005 BMW M3- new toy
For not so deep scratches you can use compound and polish. Or try the 3M scratch kit they sell at Canadian Tire. It's about $30.
Interior scratches or external?
Pick up Quixx Scratch Repair Kit on Amazon.ca.
Any scratch that will get caught in your fingernail will usually not buff out and will have to get repainted to be perfect. Swirls or light scratches will buff out.
If you can spend the money get a rotary or dual action polisher to buff out scratches and make your paint perfect. Or alot of elbow grease will work too but will never give the same result as a machine.
Pickup some meguiars ultimate compound from canadian tire. It will take out alot of scratches in your paint even by hand. Or you can use their proffesional line of mirror glaze for a better result.
Most scratch removal pastes and liquids dont work well on deep scratches. Only on light stuff.

What brand is it ?
I can confirm that this company and polish works wonders. Be careful with a buffer. I'll post some pics. I've started doing detailing jobs here in Ottawa again.
