Quit buying cheap knives...I can cut down piles of cardboard boxes with any of my benchmades and they'll stay sharp through it. Quick 2 minute touch up on the sharpmaker once I'm done and they're good to go for next time.
The trick with the sharpener is to keep your hand very steady and at the right angle every time.

Jackal is only joking. Even the AA battery in the flashlight was a joke.

I've had some good success with the sharpener in the short amount of time I've had it.
Very pleased with it and worth the $75 it costs on sale on Amazon right now

Patience is the key. Just have to take your sweet time.

Check out this guys ebay store. He's in Canada and I've bought a couple of my knives through him, comes quick and is sometimes cheaper than amazon. Also, he'll deal, combined shipping/free ship/etc.

@Reddie1337 I don't know if you ever found one but if you're referring to the one that screws into the corkscrew try Mountain Equipment Co-op. That's where I've gotten mine in the past. $2.50 or something cheap if I recall.
Zanflare F1 mini Review/update
The light throwing distance in higher brightness settings is great.
The battery life so far on the setting 1 above candle light mode is great. I have yet to charge the battery.
Good sturdy build with nice weight in the hand. Belt clip secures well.
Great torch, good price, fast shipping and would recommend this to anyone.
Bonus: It helped me find my neighbours dog when he got out late last night.

Just grabbed a Fenix UC02 to try for an EDC flashlight...usb rechargeable which is convenient and it's pretty small and decently bright (130 lumens on high). We'll see if the size is small enough to not bother me in my pocket all the time.
Can't tell from the pic but what's the girth like? (That's what she said)
That'll determine if it's comfortable

Smidge over half inch (14mm)...it's pretty damn small, it's roughly 3/4 the size of a AA battery.
Ok yeh that's small

I assume you don't have it yet or you could post a pic in your hand

Nice...I have one of the older versions, decent light but I don't like the tailcap switch, it's hard to press.
Seriously order a Fenix UC02...it's brighter and smaller than the microstream.
I can say now that the build on the Thorfire is better than the Microstream, and the thorfire was more than half the price
I do still like the Microstream tho, and now I'm done buying flashlights

Re-read your post now @SomeGuy
Exactly right, the tail cap switch is very hard to press to get the light to stay on

achieved the same results just now by folding a small piece of paper and placing it in the tailcap switch. Turns on like butter now.
INCEPTION: the photos have this post being created in the background....
Supposed to use a piece of zip tie. Paper may make it flammable and thus dangerous.
