    Default Potentially a stupid question....

I have tried so hard to find information on this online and to no avail. Maybe I am just looking the wrong way?

Long story short, I own a 2010 Mazdaspeed3 and I have a friend with a 2010 Mazda3. He is parting his car out, and he mentioned he has Prokits forsale.

How would the prokits for a regular 3 work on a mazdaspeed? I know they'll fit, but spring rates are a hard thing to find for the Mazdaspeed prokits to compare to.

Surely these prokits have a higher spring rate than OEM mazdaspeed suspension....right?

Keep in mind I do not track the car, but also don't want to completely ruin the handling of it.

    Thanks!

they list two different part numbers - speed 3 - 5554 and regular 3 5553. biggest difference i see is the drop. fronts are 1.0 speed and 1.2 3- rear .6 speed and 1.1 3. maybe thats for the bigger wheels as well. hard to say. might need to wait and see if anyone has put regular 3 springs on a speed. or contact eibach and ask them if they will fit.

Many people have done this before. The non speed springs are a bit softer, they also have a larger drop. Plan to factor in another .5" drop if using the non speed springs to compensate for the heavier speed 3 front end.
