Default First Servicing at avante on steeles?

I\'m new here, and I\'m a kinda new driver with my first car. I\'ve had my 3 for 2 n a half weeks and I\'ve run 9900 km+. I think I\'m long over due for a servicing but I also think that it said every 12000km in the manual? but I\'ve been reading posts here and I think its a bout time to book my first servicing appointment ever, most likely at the avante near steeles. The thing is just that I\'m a bit confused with the whole thing cuz

    1. I goto skool at Waterloo, so i can\'t really afford to go by for too long without a car.
    2. I have a spare day on Tuesdays and I think its a good time to bring my car in (or monday nite) since saturdays mite be kinda full.
    3. I need to know how long i have to leave my car there for cuz I MUST get back to loo on tuesday nite.
    4. I\'m wondering if I could pickup JDM tailights and a stubby antenna there since i got the jist that flipspeed works there and has them in stock?

So have I overrun my car without oil changes!?

First of all congratulations on your purchase. Have you contacted the service department yet about bringing your car in? Your first service is the 8,000km so you should book an appointment as soon as you can.

As for accesories, I am currently working on getting the JDM antenna but I do have the tailights in stock.

From my experience with Avante of Toronto, Saturday\'s service appointments are like winning the lottery...good luck. Anytime during the week they are fine, sometimes you can even call the day before and get one for the next day.

If it\'s just an oil change, you can wait for it, just mention it to the Service Technician when you make the appointment. I don\'t know about \"loaners\" for service.

Save yourself the $80 and install the LED tail lights yourself. All you will need is a socket wrench, I believe a 10mm socket and about 20 minutes of your time, the installation is plug and play.

I think I\'ll do them by myself then. But then apart from the oil change, I think I need a check on my alignment cuz I thing my gf hit a ditch too hard and its a little skewed. And of course, the squeaking brakes... oh... and do u think they\'ll do the ETB grounding for me? would i be asking for too much? cuz I\'m a less than competent with things under the hood apart from headlights, prolly i could save the time from hitting a shop?

I\'m pretty certain they won\'t do the grounding mod for you. Again, you can easily do that yourself. If you don\'t have one already, Canadian Tire has a very inexpensive, compact socket set for less than $10, I bought it and it helped me out when I did the grounding mod and with the installation of the tail lights. It\'s indispensible.
