    Default MikeTheCheek logs

Had to replace the turbo due to a broken compressor wheel. Went with the Corksport turbo and now being tuned by Freektune. Car is a 2007 Mazdaspeed3, mod list is as follows

    Mod List:
    Cobb SF Intake
    cpe TIP
    cpe RMM
    cpe HPFP
    cpe FMIC
    cpe catted DP
    HKS 3" CBE
    Corksport Turbo
    Corksport Radiator Shrouds
    Corksport EBCS
    Corksport 3.5 Bar MAP sensor
    Cobb AP V3
55000km on the dot at time of turbo install and tuning process beginning.

I'm not going to be posting the logs from the base map. I will begin with the 1st revision.

datalog2.csvdatalog3.csvdatalog4.csv Datalog 4 was done on a slight turn in the road causing the lower numbers.

Looks like fun pulling all the to redline, the final revision will be a beast I am sure. Justin/Freektune have a lot of experience with the platform.

Re-do your plot with Smoothing 3 and CF 1.01 as per standard. Also put your occupant weight in.

    You're really only making ~300whp, not 330whp.

Got the second revision in my email yesterday and had some time to do the data logs tonight. The power definitely hits you harder than before but still comes on nice and smooth.

Revision 3 came in so here are the logs. Not sure why log1 came out the way it did, I thought it was the best log when I did it but if someone with more knowledge than me can chime in go right ahead! I will say the car may have been a bit heavier than other days as the trunk was a bit more full if it makes any difference...

Lost access to v Dyno for computer reasons so I won't be able to post the final graphs. Tune was finished a couple weeks ago just haven't gotten around to updating the thread. According to Justin the power is about 330-340whp and 350wtq. If I choose to upgrade to a 3.5 or 4" intake he said I would likely only see gains of about 5-10whp. From some reading I've done recently it appears the CS turbo has issues with boost spikes when running a 3.5" intake or bigger. Corksport is working on a fix for this so we will see when ever that decides to be released.

Car feels great, pulls strong, boost goes right through the whole power band with no tapering off. In regular conditions it is peaking at 23psi.
