    Default Hemlor's logs

Hope everyone is having a good start to 2017.

I'm wondering if you guys can take a look at the attached logs. The combined 3rd and 4th gear log is from Dec 2016 and the separate 3rd and 4th gear logs are from Jan 18/17 (earlier tonight). The mods are the same in Dec and Jan but I was still on summer tires in Dec while I'm now on winters (not sure if it matters).

The main difference that I see is the wastegate duty is quite a bit higher in my Jan run vs. Dec but the other values seem within the range that Stratified lists with their flash updates.

I appreciated any information you can share.

    Thanks a lot

Below are a list of mods:

    COBB AP v2
    CPe Nano SRI
    metal TIP (unknown brand)
    JBR 88A RMM
    UR test pipe
    autotech HPFP internals
    CPe TMIC
    Denso 1-step colder plugs
current map: Stratified flash tune Stage 3 93 v3.00

3000-6700 pulls please, not these high rpm ones...looks generally weak for the listed mods, get a pro tune.

    Thanks for your help.

Would a pro tune help with power gains or with power delivery, or both compared to a flash tune?

    Thanks

    Thanks a lot.

I'll probably contact stratified in the spring for a custom tune.

Both...makes a big difference running a tune for the car versus an OTS map.

Thanks for the feedback. I've attached some logs that are in the recommended RPM range. I couldn't hit 6600rpm in the 4th gear pull, I got to about 5700.

Regardless, I'll be getting a custom tune come spring or earlier.

    Thanks again

I would personally get a Protune to control the boost ramp up, you are hitting a high load (more than I would be comfortable with on stock pistons/rings) at a low RPM range.

The OTS tune is pretty good compared to the Cobb OTS ones, but if you plan to keep the car for a while I would get a tune to keep the high calculated load out of the 3000-3500 range.

    @SomeGuy what do you think?

Yeah...among a few other things. Needs some MAF cal, LEC or BEC is too aggressive, has some flow issues above 5500rpm should be able to get a bit more out of a k04 in that rpm range.
