    Default Autodip

Just wanna share my experience with autodip. Waaay better than plastidip and worth the money. Highly recommended for people who wanna dip some parts of their car.

I've seen videos of it. I think its more glossier than plastidip even using high gloss finish. It doesnt come with gallons yet, only spray cans.
more expensive than plasti dip but gives more shinier result.

Hey, I have a silver hatchback and I wanted to make the bottom bumper black. Similar to the speed3's, I think it may look more aggressive. Do you think this stuff will work better than say vinyl wrapping the bumper? Or would the matte black of plasti-dip look best for this situation. All ideas and inputs are welcome thanks!

I would get in touch with one of our sponsors to see there pricing first. The Plasti-Dip would be cost effective but you wont get that Gloss or "shine" with vinyl wrap or AutoDip, you could add a glossifier but it wouldn't compare

So Autodip is Vinyl dip as compared to Plastidip thats plastic composite. I came to know about Autodip around December 2016. There is a detail and wrap shop in brampton next to my dad's machine shop. I went in there to ask him about vinyl wraping the front of the car and he talked about the several cans of autodip that he had sitting and told me a thing or two about autodip. He did mention that they are going to come out with some clear stuff soon as well.

In any case i have no affiliation with the guy, i just wanted to throw my 2 cents in this convo. His shop is Legends Auto Spa in brampton and his name is Philip.

@Daileydose how many cans did you use for all 4?

1 can per rim like plastidip, or could you stretch 3 or even 2 cans?

I stretched with three cans but I have about 10 spokes. With less of a complicated wheel it will get it done with 2 but just to be safe order 3, it did not hide my curb rashes like the plasti dip did.

Could you link a picture of how the wheels turned out with the autodip?
