Muffler Delete !!!

Hey guys so I drive a 2017 Mazda 3 GT (2.5) This week I'm planning to do a muffler delete, what're your thoughts?? and has anyone done this on their 3rd gen??

IMO, removing only make it sound obnoxious, worse if your car is an automatic.

Hey I did a muffler delete on my manual 2012 Mazda 3 Skyactiv, and it's not obnoxious at all! It's the perfect rumble for me and I love it!

Hey I did a muffler delete on my manual 2012 Mazda 3 Skyactiv, and it's not obnoxious at all! It's the perfect rumble for me and I love it!

You do know it is illegal to operate a motorized vehicle without a functional muffler.....

Do you find it drowns at like 25-3000 rpm?
Does it require a break-in period?
Did mine on an 18 and sounds great but there's one spot that it drowns when hitting the gas. On the highway at that RPM I don't even hear it but when I hit the gas, or let go of throttle under 3000RPM it drowns pretty bad. Getting used to it, and changing gears is definitely a learning curve.
